International Investment Position Of Georgia

The FINANCIAL — The net international investment position (IIP) of Georgia amounted to -23.2 billion USD (-56.9 billion GEL) for June 30 2018, accounting for -144.9 percent of the last four quarter GDP. Net IIP improved by 594.6 million USD compared to the previous quarter.

International assets amounted to 9.4 billion USD (23.0 billion GEL) by June 30 2018, down by 203.0 million USD quarterly.

Liabilities decreased by 797.6 million USD during the quarter totaling 32.6 billion USD (79.9 billion GEL).
