Domestic exports of Georgia in January – October 2020

The FINANCIAL — National Statistics Office of Georgia published preliminary results of the domestic exports of Georgia in January – October 2020. 

In January-October 2020 the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 2 715.3 million, 11.1 percent lower year-on-year. Share of the domestic exports in total export constituted 72.1 percent and amounted to USD 1 956.8 million, 4.7 percent higher to the January-October 2019.

In January-October 2020 the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 79.0 percent. The top partners were China (USD 405.3 million), Russia (USD 320.3 million) and Bulgaria (USD 254.1 million).

In January-October 2020 copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 618.6 million, or 31.6 percent of total exports. The exports of ferro-alloys totaled USD 197.7 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 10.1 percent. The exports of wine of fresh grapes occupied the third place standing at USD 162.5 million and constituting 8.3 percent of the total exports
