Garant Sighorta Insurance Company launches operation

The FINANCIAL — According to APA-Economics, Azerbaijan’s Garant Sighorta Insurance Company has launched official operation. The company director Vagif Hasanov said the insurer was granted a license from the Ministry of Finance and will provide 18 voluntary and 4 compulsory types of insurance services on the domestic market.

The insurer plans to switch from LLC to Open Joint Stock Company in the nearest future. At present the company preparers paperwork for the process.

Garant Sighorta is owned by ZQAN Holding (controlling stake) and two local individuals. Its authorized capital is AZN 1 million.
