The FINANCIAL — Tegeta Motors, the leading Georgian auto-service company, has increased its machinery realization by 200 units this year.

According to David Cheishvili, General Director of Tegeta Motors, last year the company managed to realize 85 units of machinery and this year this index has much improved. As he says, demand for high class auto machinery has increased greatly in recent times.

Last week MAN Truck & Bus AG held a training by the biggest German company MAN at Tegeta Motors. The training was organized by Tegeta Motors’ subsidiary company Tegeta Truck & Bus and MAN Truck & Bus AG’s educational academy MAN Academy. According to the decision of Dr Frank Hiller, Director of Marketing, Sales and Services for MAN Truck & Bus AG, MAN Academy implemented new types of trainings in 2011. These trainings were created for the perfection of professional habits of sales managers of the partner companies in different parts of the world.

According to representatives of MAN Truck & Bus AG, arranging the training session in Georgia was due to a variety of important reasons including successful long term cooperation with Tegeta, the service centres of the companies and infrastructure that fully satisfies the international standards for holding such an event. Sharing the experience of working with the company Tegeta Motors with other partner companies and the progressive growth of the Georgian market also affected the decision to arrange the training in Tbilisi.

“Tegeta Motors’ subsidiary company Tegeta Trucks & Bus is an official importer of Man Trucks & Bus AG to Georgia. Since the first day of our cooperation, we have been successfully working together, hence MAN decided to arrange this training in Georgia. MAN periodically holds trainings and seminars to increase the qualifications of companies in its head office in Munich, Germany. This is the first nominated and certified training to be held outside of the borders of Germany,” Cheishvili said.

“Representatives of eight countries are taking part in this training. In total 22 people are participating in it. The training’s participants come from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Germany.

“After the world economic crisis in 2008, studying about machinery in a financial sense and saving expenses in relation to that has become a very important part of ownership. Now we will have the opportunity to foresee the cost of any kind of machinery during one’s ownership of it and then we will be able to give suggestions to our customers who plan to buy the machinery. In this way the owners of the machine will be able to count the cost of each kilometre,” Cheishvili said.

This training will not only include those represented countries, but it will become necessary for each of its companies all around the world.

“Every day we see new machinery in the sales of our products, so we should quickly learn about these novelties. This kind of training is a good chance for us. It will help us to develop our business more successfully,” said Jamshid Kattakhodjaev, Commercial Director of LLP MAN Truck & Bus Kazakhstan said.

“I come from Belarus. At the moment we do not offer used trucks to our clients, we only sell new ones. We have a strong market in Belarus and our clients often buy used trucks in Germany and have no opportunity to buy them on the local market. Today we are here to receive information on how to work in this direction and then use it in our situation. We do think that if we offer our clients such a service then their number will increase. We will gain a stronger position among our competitors who have already developed this service,” said Alexander Boyko, Sale of Trucks & Buses at Bel Truck & Bus.

“The fact that several representatives from different parts of the world are taking part in this training is one of the best facilities to share opinions and receive new ideas. Representatives of MAN from different parts of the world have gathered together, and such big events are always very important and always bring about success,” Boyko said.
