The FINANCIAL — The unemployment rate in Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries stood at 6.9% in April, unchanged on the month earlier, according to the Paris-based OECD.
Since January 2013, the OECD jobless rate has declined by 1.2 percentage points, according to Borsa Italiana.
A total of 42.2 million people were unemployed in the OECD in April, 6.8 million less than January 2013 but still 7.7 million above July 2008, immediately before the start of the global financial crisis.
