The FINANCIAL — As of July 1, agrarians harvested 929.4 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 310.1 thsd ha, or 6% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3 t/ha. At the same time, on July 1, 2014, agrarians harvested 3.157 mln tonnes of grains throughout 1.1 mln ha, with the yield of 2.8 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested winter wheat throughout 24.7 thsd ha. The production volumes totaled 78.6 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 3.19 t/ha, according to APK Inform.
Agrarians harvested 812.6 thsd tonnes of winter barley throughout 263.6 thsd ha, with the yield of 3.08 t/ha.
The peas production volumes reached 36.9 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.84 t/ha. The harvested areas totaled 20 thsd ha.
As for winter rapeseed, agrarians harvested 46 thsd tonnes of the oilseed throughout 26.8 thsd ha, with the average yield of 1.72 t/ha.
It is reported that agrarians of Zaporozhye and Odessa oblasts started harvesting spring barley. As of the reporting date, they harvested 6.1 thsd tonnes of the grain throughout 2 thsd ha (the yield totaled 3 t/ha).
